DO NOT VIOLENTLY PROTEST FOR THE WRONG CAUSE!!!!!

As an American we all have been given the right to do many things. Most importantly we have been given the right to vote. This right was given to us and  big number of us today still do not use this right, unless we "think" it matters. With that being said there is no reason to protest for a lost cause.

The idea of George Zimmerman being acquitted is scary, not to a race but to the uneducated. Most don't understand Zimmerman went on trail and was acquitted through the same process every other criminal goes through in the state of Florida. He is not the first to be acquitted and he wont be the last if we don't understand the steps needed to be taken to make change.

First we must use the one right that can change almost anything and that is to vote. We must then remember the ideas of a wise man known as Martin Luther King Jr and fight with peace and not with violence. And lastly we must understand that the issue at hand is not a race issue but a judicial issue and vote to have a voice to make a change.

Instead of fighting for justice for Trayvon Martin we must learn from what has happen and make change for the future. We cannot take away any mans rights including George Zimmerman. I do not defend him in anyway but i do know that i am saddened by his acquittal just like anyone else. I have been attacked on social media and attacked verbally in  public settings because people don't understand or respect my opinion. I feel the same way everyone else does but for different reason.

With that being said please  DO NOT VIOLENTLY PROTEST FOR THE WRONG CAUSE!!

Below is a song i find very inspirational and fits well with "our" (a nation) situation.

What we dont realize about the Zimmerman Trail

So I know most people will judge me before reading the whole post but I'm gonna ask that you read the entire article before you make your opinion about mine. So in my eyes Zimmerman should go to jail but lets focus on the real situation and not what people want it to be. The media has turned the trail of one mans mistakes into an entire movement. We focus on the difference in race and the irrelevant bad doings of this young man before he was killed instead of focusing on the main fact. A man shot another man who was unarmed.
At the end of the day this man made a mistake and he should pay for it. The family of Trayvon should want and receive justice for their loss. The attention that the family and all other black activist have brought to this trail in my eyes is ruining their hopes of justice. It is 2013 and the only thing we can seem to think and constantly say is that a black young man was shot and killed by a "white man".
We have to learn eventually that the race card has to end. Any situation involving any race lighter than ours always boils down to our difference as people at the end of the day. We don't realize how much damage we are doing without paying attention to the actual facts. I really hope people will listen and understand that as a race we cant move forward if we don't let go of the past. The past that half of the people out here who are preaching for the know nothing about.
I hope this ends with justice for this family and we as a race learn from this.

Bill Cosby speaks the truth yet again!!!!!!

A lot of black people might not feel the same way I do but I love the words this man recently spoke about black people. People are starting to think he is being to critical but I admire the fact that he does not hold back and shows no remorse. We have fought the battle we are here and we can blame anyone but ourselves for the problems we go through now. I love this man with every inch of my body and support every word/sentence/phrase he said. Below is the recent criticism some want to call it he expressed regarding Black Americans. i felt like he was in my head.

They’re standing on the corner and they can’t speak English.
I can’t even talk the way these people talk:
Why you ain’t, …
Where you is,
What he drive,
Where he stay,
Where he work,
Who you be…
And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk.
And then I heard the father talk.
Everybody knows it’s important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can’t be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth.
In fact you will never get any kind of job
making a decent living.
People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education, and now we’ve got these knuckleheads walking around.
The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal.
These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids.
$500 sneakers for what?
And they won’t spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics.
I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit.
Where were you when he was 2?
Where were you when he was 12?
Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn’t know that he had a pistol?
And where is the father? Or who is his father?
People putting their clothes on backward:
Isn’t that a sign of something gone wrong?
People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn’t that a sign of something?
Isn’t it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body?
What part of Africa did this come from??
We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don’t know a thing about Africa …..
I say this all of the time. It would be like white people saying they are European-American. That is totally stupid.
I was born here, and so were my parents and grand parents and, very likely my great grandparents. I don’t have any connection to Africa, no more than white Americans have to Germany , Scotland , England , Ireland , or the Netherlands . The same applies to 99 percent of all the black Americans as regards to Africa . So stop, already! ! !
With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap ……… And all of them are in jail.
Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person’s problem.
We have got to take the neighborhood back.
People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different ‘husbands’ — or men or whatever you call them now.
We have millionaire Football players who cannot read.
We have million-dollar basketball players who can’t write two paragraphs. We, as black folks have to do a better job.
Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids, you are hurting us.
We have to start holding each other to a higher standard..
We cannot blame the white people any longer.’

Correct me if I'm wrong but i see nothing wrong with anything he said. I think he is taking an aggressive approach because that's how much he cares and instead of criticising him we need to listen.

Paula Deen cant get a break !!!!

So it just seems Paula Deen cannot receive a break. As if she has committed a cardinal sin she has pretty much lost everything. It was stated the other day that a man by the name of Thomas Paculis was arrested by the FBI for extortion. The man used alleged racial slurs against Deen to receive 250 thousand dollars.

As a black man I feel obligated to say I wish people would really let this go. We only have proof that this woman has done the same thing we as black people do in the presence of huge audiences and that's joke about the opposite race. Regardless of the names she used think of some of the names we use. Look at almost every black stand up comedy act and tell me what you see. This woman does not deserve this at all for everyone who thinks she does. call it even and let it go now.

Man gets arrested for filming the police and police shoot his dog in front of him.

OK, So this is very disturbing. i understand them being upset that this man was being an ass, but he did nothing to get arrested for and if they would have let the man go they would not have felt the need to shoot the dog. This is a pure case of the cops doing whatever they want and this was a sad site to see. I want everyone to see this and i dont care who has an issue with my opinion. Someone should really go down for this display of police brutality. the animal did nothing wrong and if the police handled this in a different manner this would not of happened.

Beyonce Chimes for Change

Beyonce headlines charity concert in London over the weekend. Along with headlining the event she also served on the founding committee for the event. We love to see Beyonce putting her star power to good use. She was joined by Mary J Blige Jennifer Lopez and Jessie J. Rita Ora and Iggy Azalea also gave good performances for the cause. Beyonce also sing her new song "Grown Woman" as well as Sam Cooks "A Change Is Gone Come". Watch below of course I have video. Also see other artist that performed including a Beatles Tribute by Mary J and J Lo.

These are just a little taste of the concert. Wish I was there. This weekend was just a concert spectacular. Cant wait until the Made in America Festival.

Hot 97 Summer Jam was surely delightful this year and we have video

So this years Hot97 Summer Jam Concert was a star studded music filled event. From special guest Lil Kim Nicki Minaj Wu Tang and even the talented Mariah Carey. Even Jay Z and Beyonce were in the audience. Below are a few videos I found on other sites from the event. I'm sure you will find more online there are plenty. Apparently Nicki Minaj was booed pon de performance of her Lil Kim diss track which is expected at the Met..
Mariah Carey pulls of a crop top with no problem. I must say she looks amazing for her age. Miguel is cute as always. Overall the concert was great and might be the best summer jam ever. It is surely the most talked about.

Tyler Perry in Hot water again!

So Tyler Perry is under fire for his constant reference to HIV. His constant attraction to writing about promiscuity and it leading to HIV is starting to upset a lot. I honestly must admit it is very prominent in his work and is not helping the fight of this disease. Every time he references HIV its more so stigmatizing than support for a cause.

As a prominent figure in the black community it is not becoming of him to constantly reference such negativity to a growing issue in our community. We would hate to think you have some heart found issue with the virus other than the fact that it needs to be cured.

Below is a letter from PWN-USA expressing their opinion.

Dear Mr. Perry,
We write as people living with HIV and their allies to express our deep disappointment with your latest film, Temptation.  This disappointment is made all the greater because you have done much that can be applauded. Audiences see your plays and films not simply as entertainment, but as opportunities for inspiration, spiritual healing, and unity.
In Temptation, however, you have done a great disservice to people with HIV, and particularly to the African American community, which, as you know, is disproportionately affected by HIV.
As you may be aware, one of the greatest barriers to addressing the HIV epidemic is the high level of stigma and misinformation attached to this simple virus.  Stigma prevents people from getting tested for HIV, from protecting themselves during sex, from accessing care when they test positive, and from disclosing their HIV status to family, friends, and sexual partners. Myths and outdated perceptions about how HIV is transmitted and the implications of an HIV diagnosis have resulted in discriminatory treatment towards, and violence against, people living with HIV.
Unfortunately, Temptation can only serve to perpetuate stigma.  Your film depicts people with HIV as untouchable and unlovable, doomed to a lifetime of loneliness, and unable to tell their own stories.  It implies that men with HIV are sexually irresponsible and predatory.  And the final image – that of a woman who has been infected with HIV due to an extramarital affair walking away alone and unhealthy – sends the message that HIV is a punishment for immoral behavior.
Mr. Perry, as a leader in the African American community, is this really the message you want to send in 2013, over three decades into this epidemic?  Your impact on beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors in the community is not insignificant.  And if you portray people with HIV as sinful, secretive monsters, unworthy of love and incapable of reproduction, what incentive do people have to learn their HIV status or for people with HIV to disclose their status?
HIV is not something that “guilty” people get. It is not a punishment for cheating, lying, using drugs or alcohol, having more than one partner, or not asking the right questions.  It is a virus whose transmission is fueled by poverty, ignorance, racism, sexism, homophobia, fear, violence, and many other factors – not by people with HIV.  In fact, studies show that the overwhelming majority of people with HIV fiercely protect their partners once they know their HIV status. Many of us are in long-term relationships with HIV-negative partners. And yes, we even have children!
We call on you to undo the damage that your film has undoubtedly already caused.  We ask you to meet with people living with HIV and hear our stories. We know that you are deeply committed to the communities that have supported your work and we ask that you make a public statement and consult with us to develop storylines that will help end HIV stigma so we can get to the real business of ending this epidemic, together.
Your response is greatly appreciated and we look forward to hearing from you in the very near future. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
We await your response.

J Lo gets to hot for tv on Britains Got Talent !!! Watch Here

J lo gets to hot for TV in Britain. The Live it up performance from  Britain's Got Talent was in most eyes a bit to explicit for prime time TV. Not only did it upset some viewers who vented on twitter. Ofcom (similar to the FCC) received many complaints regarding the raunchy performance. Lets watch below and see what all the fuss was about.

A Beautiful Day for Gay Rights

So today was a milestone for the fight for gay rights. The Boy Scouts of America has lifted their ban on gay members. They still are not allowing gay leaders but this is a very big milestone. Let us all support the fight to make this much needed and long living organization be even better than before.

Reports have circulated from many anti-gay activist members of organization furious and ready to move. Many have already started removing their children from the organization as well. This is really sad that this is such an issue to parents when it doesnt concern them in the first place. This is not setting a good example for our future and our children. This is another rise of openly discrimanatory groups similar to those of the 50's and the 60's. lets stay positive and fight for whats right everyone.

Grown Woman leaks for the world to hear.

So as of yesterday Beyonce's new song "Grown Woman" has "leaked". Its definitely hype and I know a lot of people cant wait to hear it. I searched until I found it and hopefully all you out there get to hear it before they take it down. Unfortunately for all the other artist out there Beyonce has decided to over power us with more of her. We love it tho.

Will Smith back in the studio?

According to HipHollywood.com, Smith has been urged by Kanye West to get back in the studio. This is great. Maybe rap will have a bit more substance. Will might be able to convince Kanye he is not Jesus. I think by adding new music from Will Smith might reroute the game and I am all for it. Not to mention now is the time seeing as though many people from the 80's and the 90's are releasing new music.

Kanye West Feeling a bit Superior to regular people.

Just when we thought his ego couldn't get any bigger. Kanye West has released the title of his up and coming album. The album is titled "Yeezus" and has already been criticized all around. This is a very bold move and I must admit. I cant wait to see what all forms of the mass media has to say about this. I'm totally for freedom of speech but there has to be a limit of how much you can patronize one's beliefs. Situations like this get even worse when you are doing it on someone else's dime (as in his record label).

Kanye i hope your newest studio attempt has lyrical genius involved. I am secretly a Kanye fan but i hope you come to your senses before this album is released. in the mean time lets watch another egotistical video from the Lyricist Himself.

Mary J. Blige Joins tax problem crew

I'm shocked!!!! Mary J. Blige is on the IRS list of celebs to go after. According to TMZ she owes the state of New Jersey $3.4 million. Dang Mary, you could probably fix the rest of the Hurricane Sandy destruction. Poor Mary and every other celeb who has joined the list. I think these celebs should start to really pay more attention to who they hire to take care of their finances. This i starting to become a trend for the rich and i know its not because they don't have the money. Time to go on tour.

Sassy Boys of Atlanta

I watched the teaser for this show earlier and i cant wait to watch it. I feel it will give a positive insight on the gay lifestyle. No exploitation is always a plus. Hope you all tune in i know i will be tuned in.

Beyonce Pregnancy Rumors are False????????

So remember last week I reported (from a reliable source i might add) that Beyonce was pregnant? Well Jay Z has suppressed those rumors. Hot 97 director Ebro reached out to Jay Z to congratulate him only to be told there ain't no baby.  I sure would like to know who over at E! news is gonna loose there job. I'm not mad, at least Bey can complete her tour without child. I feel she would be putting herself in danger.

Did Mariah Lip-Sync

Alright Lambily its time to defend our beloved Mariah yet again. Post her idol performance many viewers took to twitter to vent about her performance. The pre-recorded performance was rumored to be lip-synced. Now, as a lamb I do agree the performance was a bit weird, however I don't think the performance was lip-synced. A spokesperson from her camp denied the accusations and let everyone know she did sing with a backing track. This is a normal practice for most iconic artist. Beyonce went under fire earlier this year for her Star Spangled Banner performance at the Inauguration.

To me it looks as if the performance was dubbed. Every pre-recorded performance from any mainstream artist is dubbed. For those of you who are not familiar, dubbing is basically an  in-studio voice over inserted after the performance. This is done to remove any imperfections the artist and producers may not like.

Anyway Mariah all i can say is let them know it when you perform on the kick of the GMA Summer Concert. This show is live and leaves no room for prerecorded tracks.. I know she will redeem herself and everyone will have to remain speechless. Below is 2 videos from her recent tour in Australia where vocals are flawless. Tune into ABC next Friday 5/24 to see Mariah perform.

Awsome Vocals Never seen her perform this live before

I love this song and Can hear it all day

Beyonce Really Pregnant?

So I'm not gonna say for certain but, according to a reparable source (E! News)  Beyonce's pregnancy has been confirmed. According to the article Beyonce does not plan on letting this interfere with her North American Tour however we still don't know how true this is. If Beyonce really is pregnant, of all times right before your tour kicks off is not healthy. In my personal opinion I don't think she should tour while pregnant. By the end of her tour she will be more than a small baby bump. we still are not sure how far along she is as of now. This is not a smart move and I'm certain if she is numerous doctors have told her so. We are crazy in love with you but im willing to wait till you "pop" out baby number 2.

Highlights from last nights Idol Finale

First we have the most anticipated performance Mariah Carey. She Performed a Medley of her hits.

Inseperable!!! This was awesome

The Other most anticipated performance of the night. J Lo killed it !!!

Keith gives us a  " Little Bit of Everything"

My Favorite surprise of the night. I love Jesse J.

Why didn't Nicki Minaj Perform last night?

Okay, because I love this blog and I want this to be successful, I decided not to be biased in any way. So everyone is wondering why Nicki didn't perform last night. According to Perez Hilton, the content structure of her song is one reason she couldn't perform her song "High School." Also she has already agreed to do the performance on the Billboard Music Awards preventing her from performing on a different network within days of the awards show. Oh well, Nicki you will still be front and center this weekend and we cant wait to see it. Now since idol is over you can go back to pink or green or orange hair. See the video for High School below.
