Alright Lambily its time to defend our beloved Mariah yet again. Post her idol performance many viewers took to twitter to vent about her performance. The pre-recorded performance was rumored to be lip-synced. Now, as a lamb I do agree the performance was a bit weird, however I don't think the performance was lip-synced. A spokesperson from her camp denied the accusations and let everyone know she did sing with a backing track. This is a normal practice for most iconic artist. Beyonce went under fire earlier this year for her Star Spangled Banner performance at the Inauguration.
To me it looks as if the performance was dubbed. Every pre-recorded performance from any mainstream artist is dubbed. For those of you who are not familiar, dubbing is basically an in-studio voice over inserted after the performance. This is done to remove any imperfections the artist and producers may not like.
Anyway Mariah all i can say is let them know it when you perform on the kick of the GMA Summer Concert. This show is live and leaves no room for prerecorded tracks.. I know she will redeem herself and everyone will have to remain speechless. Below is 2 videos from her recent tour in Australia where vocals are flawless.
